Abstract
- A recent study conducted at the Experimental Laboratory for Auxo-Endocrinological Research focused on the psychological conditions of caregivers of adult subjects with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). The research highlighted the emotional and psychological challenges faced by caregivers of individuals with PWS, emphasizing the need for comprehensive and lifelong care for those with the syndrome. The study compared the psychological well-being of individuals with PWS and their caregivers, revealing higher levels of depression, stress, and lower overall well-being in caregivers compared to individuals with PWS. The findings provide valuable insights that could potentially enhance the quality of care for individuals with PWS. [Extracted from the article]
