Abstract

A recent study conducted at Medical University in Bulgaria explored the barriers to the widespread use of simulation technologies (ST) in the education of health care students. The research highlighted challenges such as the lack of adapted curricula, trained trainers, and sufficient space for simulation centers, as well as the high cost of purchasing and maintaining ST. Experts emphasized the importance of balancing traditional training with real patient experiences when incorporating ST in health education. The study concluded that overcoming these barriers is crucial for the successful integration of simulation technologies in the training of health care students. [Extracted from the article]
