Abstract

Researchers from Guilin University of Technology in China conducted a study on risk spillovers and extreme risks between the e-commerce and logistics markets in China. They used advanced mathematical models to analyze the relationships between the two markets and found structural breaks that could lead to extreme risks. The study also highlighted the impact of significant events such as the Chinese stock market crash, the Sino-U.S. trade friction, the COVID-19 epidemic, and e-commerce policies on risk spillovers. The findings suggest asymmetric volatility spillovers and dynamic risk patterns between the e-commerce and logistics markets. [Extracted from the article]
