Abstract
- A study conducted at King George Medical University in Uttar Pradesh, India, examined the association of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) levels with obese individuals in the North Indian population. The research found that hs-CRP was not significantly related to obesity, and there was no correlation between hs-CRP and waist circumference, hip circumference, or waist-to-hip ratio in overweight and obese participants. This study highlights the complex relationship between obesity, inflammation markers, and heart disease risk factors in the context of North Indian population demographics.
