Abstract

A recent study from the University of South Florida explores the treatment options for allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA), a rare airway disorder that affects patients with asthma and cystic fibrosis. The research focuses on the concept of PANoptosis, a new understanding of cell death and inflammation, and its potential role in treating ABPA. The study suggests that experimental medications, particularly necroptosis inhibitors, could be beneficial in the treatment of ABPA.
