Abstract

A study conducted at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine explored the inter-cycle variability of Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) levels and its implications for predicting controlled ovarian stimulation cycle outcomes. The research found that AMH levels can fluctuate significantly between menstrual cycles, potentially leading to misclassification of patients. Measuring AMH levels in the early follicular phase of the controlled ovarian stimulation cycle was shown to provide a more accurate prediction of the number of oocytes collected, aiding in clinical decision-making. The study included normal and poor responder women, with significant correlations observed between AMH levels and total oocyte count as well as mature oocyte count. [Extracted from the article]
