Abstract

Researchers from the University of Baghdad conducted a study on the effects of L-carnitine (LC) treatment on the body weight and preimplantation embryonic development of young and aged female mice. The study involved 40 mice divided into control and treated groups, with results showing a significant reduction in body weight and improved embryo development in the LC-treated groups. The findings suggest that oral supplementation of LC may have positive effects on body weight and embryonic development in mice.
