Abstract
- A study conducted at Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, China, explored the potential of Taxus chinensis var. Mairei in overcoming resistance to osimertinib in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with EGFR mutations. The research focused on the mechanisms by which the aqueous extract of Taxus chinensis var. Mairei enhances the antitumor effect of osimertinib, particularly through ERK1/2-related cholesterol biosynthesis. The study concluded that this approach could offer a promising therapeutic target for addressing resistance to osimertinib in NSCLC. [Extracted from the article]
