Abstract

A study conducted at Islamic Azad University in Tabriz, Iran, focused on the protective effect of Naringenin on early kidney injuries in diabetic rats. The research found that Naringenin significantly decreased levels of serum urea, uric acid, and creatinine in diabetic rats, while also reducing lipid peroxidation and increasing levels of antioxidant enzymes. The study concluded that Naringenin, with its antioxidant properties, may help prevent early diabetic kidney damage. [Extracted from the article]
