Abstract
- The article from the Medical Journal of Australia explores the use of Medicare-subsidised mental health services by children in New South Wales during their first 15 years of life. The study found that 26.9% of children had utilized these services before turning 15, with varying rates of service use based on demographic factors such as sex, Indigenous status, socioeconomic position, and geographic location. The research highlights disparities in access to mental health care and calls for further efforts to ensure equitable access for all young people in Australia. [Extracted from the article]
