Abstract
- Researchers at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow have discussed the roles of chemokines in obesity-induced hypersensitivity and diabetic neuropathy. The study suggests that CCR2, CCR5, and their ligands may play a significant role in these conditions by promoting inflammation and hypersensitivity. The research highlights the potential of blocking these receptors to reduce hypersensitivity in chronic pain states, including diabetic neuropathy. This study provides valuable insights into the connection between obesity, diabetes, and neuropathic pain. [Extracted from the article]
