Abstract

A study conducted at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in Iran explored the therapeutic potential of Lactobacillus casei and Chlorella vulgaris in high-fat diet-induced non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD)-associated kidney damage. The research, which involved 30 mice, found that the treatments with CV and LBC significantly reduced kidney injury markers and improved kidney tissue structure. The study suggests that these probiotics may offer novel treatment approaches for managing NAFLD and its associated complications. [Extracted from the article]
