Abstract
- A recent study conducted at the University of Thessaly in Greece focused on assessing the reliability of sensorimotor control tests in individuals with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. The research found high reliability in tests such as the upper extremity functional proprioception test, dynamic and static balance tests, and spinal lateral flexion joint position sense test. However, tests like shoulder external rotation, knee extension, elbow flexion, and spinal flexion joint position sense showed poor reliability in this population. Therapists are recommended to use specific tests to assess treatment progress in individuals with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. [Extracted from the article]
