Abstract
- A recent study conducted by Stanford University School of Medicine focused on the role of genome architecture in colorectal cancer (CRC) development. The research highlighted a significant loss of promoter-enhancer connectivity during early stages of CRC, impacting gene regulation. The findings suggest a complex interplay between 3D genome architecture and gene expression during CRC progression. This peer-reviewed study sheds light on the molecular mechanisms underlying early colorectal carcinogenesis. [Extracted from the article]
