Abstract
- A study conducted at Georges Pompidou European Hospital in Paris, France, analyzed the outcomes of lumbar stenosis and scoliosis patients treated with different surgical techniques. The study included 154 patients with a minimum two-year follow-up, showing that long fusion with deformity correction led to better and more sustained clinical improvement, despite higher complication and revision rates. The research concluded that lumbar stenosis and scoliosis are complex pathologies that require customized surgical treatment for satisfactory outcomes. [Extracted from the article]
