Abstract
- Researchers at the Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University have conducted a study on diabetic kidney disease (DKD) and the role of peroxiredoxin 2 (PRDX2) in its progression. The study found that PRDX2 is positively correlated with DKD progression and can activate inflammatory responses in macrophages through toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4). This research provides new insights into the diagnosis and treatment of DKD. [Extracted from the article]
