Abstract

A recent study conducted by Fujian Medical University in China explored the potential of Levamisole in treating rheumatoid arthritis (RA) by downregulating the PI3K/Akt pathway in SD rats. The research found that treatment with Levamisole significantly reduced arthritis symptoms, inflammation, and normalized cytokine levels without adverse effects on body weight. The study concluded that Levamisole could alleviate synovitis and bone erosion in RA by inhibiting the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway. [Extracted from the article]
