Abstract
- Researchers at the Fifth Medical Center of Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) General Hospital conducted a study on the use of CMV-specific TCR-T cells for treating CMV reactivation after stem cell transplantation. The study involved a phase I clinical trial with ten patients, showing promising results in treating CMV reactivation. The therapy demonstrated robust expansion and persistence in patients' blood, with minimal adverse effects observed. This research highlights the potential of TCR-T cell therapy in treating and preventing CMV infections post-transplantation. [Extracted from the article]
