Abstract
- A recent study conducted at the University of Bordeaux in France focused on the development of an assessment tool to determine if clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) facilitate shared decision-making (SDM) in personalized medicine. The study utilized a Delphi consensus method with seven experts to adapt international consensus studies into a French assessment tool. The tool consists of 17 criteria to assess the integration of SDM in CPGs, aiming to improve patient-physician communication and decision-making processes. The research suggests that translations of the tool into other languages could expand its utility for assessing CPGs globally. [Extracted from the article]
