Abstract
- Researchers in Xiaogan, China, conducted a study to investigate the influencing factors of postoperative urinary tract infection in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). The study analyzed clinical data from 159 patients and identified factors such as operation time, history of diabetes mellitus, and abnormal liver function as independent influencing factors for postoperative urinary tract infection. A prediction model based on these factors was established, showing promise in predicting postoperative urinary tract infection in BPH patients with NAFLD. [Extracted from the article]
