Abstract
- Researchers at the University of South China conducted a study on the traditional Chinese herbal prescription Jiao-tai-wan (JTW) and its therapeutic effects on type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Through network pharmacology analysis, they identified active compounds and mechanisms of JTW in treating T2DM via the SRC/PI3K/AKT signaling pathway. The study found that JTW may alleviate glucose, insulin resistance, and lipid metabolism disorders, providing insights into potential active compounds and essential targets for treating T2DM. The research was peer-reviewed and published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology. [Extracted from the article]
