Abstract
- A recent study conducted at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine focused on changes in individualized functional brain networks at the preclinical stage of Alzheimer's disease. The research found that individualized networks were sensitive to amyloid and tau biomarkers, with network connectivity tracking amyloid burden and network volume being more related to tau PET signal. These results suggest that individualized approaches can reveal subtle network changes that are related to disease biomarkers, providing valuable insights into preclinical Alzheimer's disease.
