Abstract

This article focuses on the impact of the terrorist attacks in the U.S. on September 11, 2001 on the relations of the country with Afghanistan. Unilateralism explains the way in which the U.S. has left others to clear up the mess made in Afghanistan. It needed no partnership in war, beyond the fig leaf provided by Great Britain and it has no intention of partnering in the so-called peace.
