Abstract
- The article reports on the adoption of the light sport aircraft by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration. The aviation industry cooperate with FAA on the development of private-sector consensus standards within the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International. This cooperation paved the way for such adoption.
