Abstract
- The article focuses on Australia's most famous horse racing called the Melbourne Cup. The 2006 race is centered on the rivalry between race horses Makybe Diva and Phar Lap. Makybe Diva is claimed to be the greatest horse in the event. She won three straight Cups. Phar Lap won by three lengths carrying a jockey weighing 62.5 kilograms.
