Developing a global information learning policy at the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium.

This article reports on the development of a global information learning policy at the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium. In 1968, due to political and linguistic reasons, the university divided into two separate universities: one Flemish that remained in Leuven and one French, which moved to the French speaking part of Belgium. In 1970, the former library was also divided and the collections were split up according to the inscription numbers.
