Abstract

The article focuses on the use of digital music player, iPod. With both USB2 and FireWire connectors for quick data transfer, the iPod can make a great portable hard drive. Using an accessory like the Griffin iTalk, one can used it for recording meetings, speeches and personal voice notes. If the person use Apple's Address Book and iCall application, one can use their iPod as a read-only diary. If the person want to push the boundaries of the iPod's hard disk, one can install an operating system (OS) on a FireWire-equipped iPod. This will give a disposable installation of OS X for testing new applications.
