Abstract
- The article examines the effects of real-time information, located at stops and stations, on the public transportation customer in Hague, the Netherlands. The newly implemented traveler information on tramline 15 was used for evaluation study containing questionnaires given to commuters. The main results were that there was a decrease in waiting time by 20 percent, while no effects were found on perceived security, there were reports of ease in use.
