This article reports that a federal appeals court in San Francisco, California has reinstated a number of racketeering suits against E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Co. As of September 30, 2005, the company had 73 pending cases related to fungicide Benlate crop losses and alleged health damage. DuPont has paid nearly $2 billion in damages and legal costs during the 15 years involving Benlate cases.
