Abstract

States that artificially constructed marshes and best management practices together prevented metric tons of phosphorus from flowing into the Everglades in 2005, according to the 2006 South Florida Environmental Report. Total metric tons of phosphorus filtered during the water year; Reduction in phosphorus load reduction through best management practices; Indication of the reduced phosphorus concentration.
