Abstract

The article focuses on the specific action of the conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) isomer against hyperlipidemia and obesity in obese Otsuka Long-Evans Tokushima Fatty (OLETF) rats. In this study, the author have shown that dietary CLA isomer, as equated with alinoleic acid-rich control diet, significantly inhibited abdominal adipose tissue and lipids in the liver of OLETF rats.
