EDITORIAL NOTES.

The article focuses on the meeting of the Northern Illinois Teachers' Association. The topic of the meeting was "Nature-Study and Geography." In the meeting teachers strongly supported elimination of old way of teaching geography. A discussion was held on "Criteria for the Selection of Material in Geography and Nature-Study." A paper titled "An Outline for a Course of Study in Nature-Study and Geography for the Period of Adolescence," was also discussed by Zonia Baber. For adolescents study should be extensive and cover a wide range of topics. For them it is necessary to include fieldwork in their curriculum.
