Abstract
- The article discusses the changes in environmental legislation in Great Britain. The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive mandates the collection, treatment, recycling and recovery of such waste. The Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2005 applies to manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment.
