Abstract: The article the reproduction behavior of Chrotopterus auritis in captivity. The neotropical bats were observed which indicated a monoestral reproductive pattern that varies geographically, with births occuring in the rainy season in southeastern Brazil. Solid food seems to be the only alimentary source when maternal milk and parts of the prey constituted the diet.
