Abstract
- The article focuses on the development of Super 8 gauge film. It relates the continuum of events occurring in succession leading from the past to its development. The author stresses that when the first standard 8mm sound projector of conventional design was marketed over 8 years ago, professional film makers took a serious look at Standard 8 film. However, Standard 8 was phased out and was replaced by Super 8 gauge film. Other information relative to the matter are provided.
