The article discusses the relationship of the chapters of Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD) with sociology clubs. Some campuses consider the AKD chapter as a continuous stable organization, while sociology clubs lack status and manifest less unity and continuity. In other campuses, sociology clubs receive prominent space in college paper while AKD chapter is small and its meetings receive little attention outside the membership. The sociology club is open to all and is a feeder of select students for the AKD chapter. Election in the AKD means a student should hold himself ready to any direction whenever the sociology club call on for assistance.
