Abstract
- The article focuses on issues concerning lawyer jokes as well as the emotional aspects of lawyers in the U.S. Several jokes about lawyers that are described by legal personnel as harsh. It raised questions on whether lawyers are also hurt and that do they have feelings. Meanwhile, managing partner Lew Meltzer at Lippe Goldstein & Breitstone LLP finds humor in some but not all, particularly lawyer jokes. However, he said there are also these kind of jokes that are more polite.
