Abstract: The article presents news briefs on the plastics industry in January 2007. Packaging supplier Sonoco completed the purchase of Clear Pack Co. Custom molder Victor Plastics has purchased Kincses Tool & Mold. Mold & Hotrunner Technology AG has been ordered by the Supreme District Court in Frankfurt, Germany to pay a fine to preform mold maker Husky five years after the latter sued it for stealing intellectual property.
