Abstract

The article reports that researchers at Leiden University in the Netherlands have demonstrated the role of the FRG1 protein in RNA splicing. FRG1 is made from a gene strongly implicated in facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy by some researchers. Silvana van Koningsbruggen and colleagues identified several splicing-related proteins associated with FRG1.
