Quick-laying temporary road does double duty as fencing.

This article reports on the development of a roll-out roadway called, MD40, by temporary roadway specialist TPA in Great Britain. The roadway will be doubled as a 3 meter-high fence. MD40 incorporates a steerable joint system. The road can accommodate 70 to 80 percent of the current workload of TPA. The road can be rolled out as a conventional 3 meter fence or installed separately as a 4 meter-high fortress fence.
