Abstract

The article discusses the difference between acting and visual effects (VFX). Acting is an organic, spontaneous craft that depend on human beings and environment while VFX applies technology and expands on meticulous planning which works on strips and bare environment. According to film actor Sarah Connor, working with virtual sets is better because it can give them freedom to move compared to using the advances in VFX.
