Abstract
- Information on psychoanalysis is presented. It designates the method of psychiatric treatment created by psychiatrist Sigmund Freud. It also designates a movement that encompasses all schools of Freudian thought and therapy. It is used in studies pertaining to gay, lesbian and transgender. Psychoanalysis is also used as a method of analysis of works of art, literary texts and social phenomena.
