ARTS LEGISLATION -- the 85th Congress.

The article deals with the arts legislation enacted by the U.S. 85th Congress in December 1958. These include an act to preserve and maintain the Patent Office Building as an art museum and the passage of a law creating a National Center of the Performing Arts and the National Defense Education Act of 1958.
