Abstract
- The article presents information on the National Retirees Group that some Australian Library & Information Association (ALIA) members are pushing to establish with the aim of making recommendations on how ALIA can best serve retired members. The working group aims to launch the Retirees Group Staying Connected Web presence on the ALIA web site. The tangible benefits of renewing ALIA membership after retirement are highlighted, including full membership voting rights and lower cost of membership.
