Abstract

The article focuses on the use of Internet by architects in the U.S. in managing foreign projects. The design team of Boccard Suddell chose to communicate with the owner of the bistro to be renovated in the Dominican Republic through the Internet due to time pressures. It mentions price as one of the advantage of communicating through Internet. It presents the opinion of Backen Arrigoni & Ross (BA&R) vice president John Lee on videoconferencing.
