Abstract

This article offers insights about the link between hormones and breast cancer. Endogenous hormones has been recognized as one of the risk factors for breast cancer. The severity of menopausal symptoms, one of the major predictors of hormone use, is also linked to breast cancer risk. Findings from the Nurses' Health Study supported the notion of a long latency period for chemicals that affect breast cancer risk.
