Abstract
- The article discusses the measurement of online readership of newspapers in Detroit, Michigan. The Schaumburg, Illinois-based Audit Bureau of Circulations, which independently verifies newspaper circulation numbers, this month rolled out new measurements that track online newspaper readership among adults 18 and older. It is expected that after the measurement advertisers will regain confidence in an industry that bases its value on the number of eyeballs it attracts.
