Abstract
- The author reflects on the utilization of schools in a funded program Ongoing and Reviewable Resourcing Schemes (ORRS) in New Zealand. He suggests the implementation of buddy programme to replace the teacher aide in the playground and to provide valuable learning opportunities for senior school children. He recommended that the senior school children should have knowledge to respond the needs of younger children and they need to have support from the school team.
