Abstract
- The article features the Augsburg, Germany-armors etched by Jörg Sorg for Spanish nobleman. It examines these armors featured at the Arms and Armour Gallery at the Victoria Albert Museum, which include a fine embossed, etched and gilt chanfron presented in the article. It studies the suits recorded in Jörg Sorg's album including the harness of Don Andreas de Ribera. It reviews the four harnesses with the trilobate scale ornament similar to the works of Wolf Neumayr. The author examines the artistic attribution of the Augsburg-harnesses and the Sussex, England-harnesses of Neumayr.
