Abstract

The article focuses on an International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) report about the nuclear program of Iran which found that the country has made some progress executing a work plan to solve a series of questions about past nuclear activities. According to IAEA Director-General Mohamed ElBaradei, the agency is unable to give assurance on the absence of inferred nuclear material and activities. It also mentions that other efforts to continue sanctions outside the United nations (UN) framework are under consideration.
